Poetry in Motion – Oliver Klink

Poetry in Motion by Oliver Klink • See more here

Poetry in Motion explores the profound connection shared between humans and horses across cultures and beyond borders. Over the last 6 years, Oliver Klink traveled the world exploring India, Mongolia, Japan, Easter Island, Spain, France, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Indonesia, Romania, Switzerland, and the USA. He explored the cross-cultural human connections between people that led him to Poetry in Motion. The horse was a unifying aspect everywhere he went. It became clear that the ancient soul of the horse was a thread connecting and bonding all of humanity, and he began to ask if there could be humanity at all without our equine relative. What started as a personal love and exploration evolved into a transformational life experience. Klink’s relationship to the world is changed forever.

“Poetry in Motion” has won a Gold in Cover Design and Honorable Mention – Judges Choice in the 2025 PubWest Book Design Awards. Kate Jordahl was the designer of this book, and Geir Jordahl was the editor. It featured Oliver Klink’s photographs, which explore the profound connection between humans and horses across cultures and beyond borders. Geir and Kate worked with Oliver, editing and reviewing thousands of images to create the book, then traveled to Longo Media in Bolzano, Italy, to guide the book through the printing and binding processes.
